Nick Lachey is professing his love for wife Vanessa Lachey on their 14th wedding anniversary.
“14 years ago, I said I Do to a life with this incredible woman,” Nick wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday, July 15. “On that day, we started a journey that has brought us three amazing children and the family I always dreamed of. V, there is nothing we can’t accomplish together and I can’t wait to see where we go next.”
The couple first met on the set of MTV's Total Request Live where Vanessa was the host of the show and Nick’s band 98 Degrees made regular appearances. The pair began exclusively dating in 2006 before tying the knot in 2011.
The Perfect Match hosts shared photos from their special day that included 35 of their closest friends and relatives in a destination wedding — Sir Richard Branson's private island in the British Virgin Islands.
In one photo, Nick wraps his arms around his new bride as they affectionately gaze into each other's eyes.
“I love you and the life we have together,” Nick's anniversary caption continued. “It ain’t always perfect and it ain’t always easy, but we continue to figure it out!! I love you more than any post can express. Happy Anniversary babe! 💍”
Together, Nick and Vanessa share three children — sons Camden, 12, and Phoenix, 8, and daughter Brooklyn, 10. More recently, they’ve co-hosted a few reality dating shows including Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum.
"Sometimes you have to be deliberate. You have to make deliberate attempts because the spontaneity, the romance, whatever you want to call it that existed pre-kids, it just can't exist the same way," he told PEOPLE while promoting season 2 of Perfect Match. "And I would argue that it shouldn't exist the same way because your priority should be your kid, but you have to also make time to prioritize each other."
"And if you lose sight of that and lose track of that, then I think that's when you can get into some trouble," he continued. "So make it deliberate. There's no shame in that. You've got to make it deliberate. Make time for each other, make it a scheduled thing if you have to, but make sure you give that to each other."
Over the years, Nick has made it a priority to make time for just the two of them amid their busy schedules and raising a family.
"We've always said and been very vocal about the fact that you got to remember where it started and stay true to that," he explained. "And you've got to make time for each other, whether it's a vacation together or even a weekend together or a night together."
