Allyshia Gupta Alleges Jenn Tran’s Ex Devin Strader Tried to Slide Into Her DMs While Still With Someone

While Allyshia Gupta left The Bachelor season 29 early, another member of Bachelor Nation allegedly wasted no time trying to slide into her social media DMs.

The Bachelor Allyshia Claims Devin Strader Slid Into Her DMs

“I have no idea how this Bachelor Nation world works, but in my reality la-la land, it’s like we’re all BFFs after this,” Allyshia, 30, said on the Tuesday, February 25, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast. “[Like], we’re gonna hang out after the show. I’m gonna come over and play with Ben’s [Higgins] kid. Me and Ashley [Iaconetti] are gonna get drunk. That’s how I imagine the tail end of it is. So, anybody from Bachelor Nation who followed me, I made it a point to follow them back.”

According to Allyshia, Devin Strader is “just one of the many” show alums to start following her on social media.

“Yes, he did slide into my DMs — as a few other people did,” she further claimed. “What’s so funny is he slid into my DMs, I didn’t respond to him [and] he slides into my DMs again. … He sends me another message. I couldn’t believe it.”

In Devin’s alleged second message, he reacted to the headlines that the pair started mutually following one another. (Devin, 29, has not addressed her claims. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.)

“It essentially said, ‘I’m sorry, I caused you all this attention from these rumors,’ like, as if he’s the reason why people are interested in me or The Bachelor,” Allyshia alleged. “I hope this girl [he’s dating now] can see, for her own record, the date of these messages was February 6. I’m pretty positive he was with her at that time.”

Allyshia added, “If he’s doing it to everyone, she would have heard that he’s done this [and] she must not care.”

Devin, who was briefly engaged to Jenn Tran after her season 21 of The Bachelorette, shared a Valentine’s Day tribute to his new girlfriend, model Skyler Springstun, earlier this month that served as their social media debut.

“These days, my vday, soothing like beach waves. Playin’ for keeps babe,” Devin wrote via Instagram on February 14, sharing a loved-up photo of the pair in Hawaii.

Skyler replied in the comments, writing, “When u know u know.”

Allyshia has not further communicated with Devin but did tease whether she’d be open to exploring a romantic connection with him on Bachelor in Paradise. (The beach spinoff is slated for season 10 this summer.)

“No, I would not be interested. That’s the easiest answer, certainly,” Allyshia quipped on Tuesday’s episode. “No to Devin for a multitude of reasons, but if what we covered isn’t enough then I’m not sure what is. I really want to have a partner for life and a husband. I want to start my family, and I’m looking for someone who’s serious about that. I think it’s pretty obvious that, based on the way that he moves, that’s not what he’s looking for. So, that’s a non-starter for me. If you’re not serious, I’m not even going to give you the time of day.”

Going to Paradise, however, isn’t quite a done deal for Allyshia. She succinctly revealed on Tuesday that certain “variables” — namely her work schedule, family needs and whether any men she was interested in would be present — needed to align before she accepted an invitation to the beach.
