On February 17, the Summer House cast member teased the official launch by showing off one of the pieces: a red-and- white gingham check bikini. In two more Instagram posts shared with South Moon Under, the retailer with whom Amanda collaborated for the line, Amanda modeled other two pieces. One bikini featured a black top and bottom with white lining, while another featured a white top and bottom with a red cherry print and red ties.

Upon posting the images, Amanda's Summer House castmates shared their support. "My queen! I am so excited to buy all of it. I am so proud of you," Paige DeSorbo wrote in the comments section of one post. "You are the most creative person I know and just all around the coolest prettiest and sweetest. Thank you for giving us cool bathing suits." Additionally, Ciara Miller exclaimed, "Yayyyyyyyy!!!!"

Then, on February 18, the Amanda Batula Swim line officially launched, and Amanda revealed more pieces in an edited video of herself modeling the swimsuits (and more) outside next to a pool.

Amanda Batula explains how her swimwear line came to life with South Moon Under

In a shared Instagram post between Amanda and South Moon Under, the company explained how the "dream partnership was born."

In one of the slides, it was revealed how the company reached out to Amanda via Instagram DMs. "Hey! Was just watching Summer House and I think we can help you with your swim idea. Interested?" the message read as Amanda responded, "Very. Let's chat."

More slides showed how the line subsequently came together, with a shot of Amanda's Pinterest filled with images of cherries, heart-shaped sunglasses, and more. There was also a poolside photoshoot, which took place on a "freezing" day. However, the brand noted, "Amanda made it look easy."

"We're so excited to share with you a collection of swimsuits designed to support the girls from the ultimate girl's girl," the company added in the post.

Additionally, Amanda's husband, Kyle Cooke, shared his support in the comments section. "I love that you’re giving a behind the scenes look at the making of your brand," the Loverboy CEO wrote.

In a September 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Amanda spoke about the process of creating her line with South Moon Under.

"I had quite a few brands and companies and people reach out, but something about South Moon [Under] stuck out," she shared. "I love the team. And they just were really excited for me and really believed in me...You want a team that has your back."

The New Jersey native also noted how creating pieces that "[feel] supportive" was her main focus for the line.

"There are brands that are very supportive and adjustable, but they’re not as trendy or fun or cutesy, so I wanted to create a line of styles and designs and colorways that you see out there currently, but are focused on girls that may be slightly larger chested," she noted.

Is Amanda Batula expanding her swimsuit business?

Amanda told The Daily Dish that she's taking her time to enjoy her success before expanding her business. "We’ll see how it goes," she said. "Maybe I’ll just continue focusing on swim and maybe some fun coverup stuff that goes with swim. Maybe I’ll expand in that world. But I think I have to take it one step at a time. I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew."
