For the first time since Karen Huger was sentenced, Bravo host Andy Cohen commented on the news during his radio show on SiriusXM. He went on about the situation and said that he is thinking about the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star.

Andy Cohen Breaks His Silence on Karen Huger's Prison Sentence

“Well, we haven’t been on since Karen was sentenced, and I don’t have much to say. I will say I am thinking of Karen every day,” Cohen said. “I’ve been thinking about her a lot. And I’m so sad about this. I’m so sad about how this entire thing has played out.

“I am a Karen fan. Drunk driving is no joke. It’s so bad. So that this was her fourth situation was tough to hear,” he continued. “And I’m not surprised that the judge was not playing. You know, I’m not surprised at all. And then hearing what I heard on the reunion last night from Gizelle, who said that she heard that she was offered a plea and home confinement for six months. Who were her lawyers that were recommended to go to trial on this when there was body cam footage like that?

“It’s so sad,” Cohen concluded

In March 2024, Huger crashed a vehicle and was charged with a DUI along with negligent and reckless driving, failure to control vehicle speed on the highway, driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, and failure to notify administration of an address change within 30 days. In December, she was found guilty of everything except for reckless driving.

On February 26, Huger was sentenced to two years in prison with one year suspended.

Karen Huger Reveals She ‘Didn’t Recognize Herself’ in Body Cam Footage

The third part of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion aired on March 2, and included a never-before-seen moment from before Huger went to a rehab center. She at the center during the filming of the reunion, which is why she missed it.

In the clip, Huger was seen talking with her husband, Raymond A Huger, about the body cam footage on December 27, 2024.

“You know I didn’t watch the tapes before the trial,” Huger admitted. “So I’m sitting there in the courtroom, like, I have to finally watch it. Because I kept saying, ‘Surely they made a mistake.’ Because everything’s not connecting for me. And I watched and I’m telling you, I didn’t recognize that woman. I didn’t know her.”

‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Will Continue Without Karen Huger

PEOPLE reported on February 28 that the “Real Housewives of Potomac” will resume filming at the end of March without Huger, who is serving her sentence. However, they added that Huger could return following her sentence, especially if it is reduced.
