Andy Cohen Shuts Down RHONJ Casting Rumors, Denies Jennifer Aydin’s Claim That She’s Returning & Says He “[Wishes] Her Well”

Andy Cohen took to his radio show on Wednesday to shoot down a recent report suggesting that Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, and Dolores Catania had been confirmed for the upcoming 15th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Andy Cohen Shuts Down RHONJ Casting Rumors, Denies Jennifer Aydin's Claim That She's Returning & Says He "[Wishes] Her Well"

Following the sharing of the online report from Housewives 911 and an Instagram Live from Jennifer, 47, in which she proclaimed, “I am coming back,” Andy, 56, denied that the three women had been asked back — and specifically said that while he and the producers had “done plenty” to prepare for the new episodes, confirming Jennifer’s return had not happened.

“It’s not happening. We’ve made no decisions on [RHONJ],” Andy confirmed on the October 15 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

Then, when Andy’s co-host, John Hill, 45, suspected that fans jumped to conclusions after seeing the three women in a photo together, Andy expressed confusion.

“They appeared in a photo together? Well, I mean, I was in a photo with freaking Madonna,” he noted.

Andy became further frustrated when John informed him that Jennifer had confirmed her return to the show with fans.

“What? No! Jennifer Aydin confirmed that she’s returning? No, no, no. We’ve done nothing. We’ve done absolutely, I mean, well, no. Actually, we’ve done plenty, but that’s not, that’s not what’s, no,” he insisted. “She said that on her Instagram Live? Wow. Alright. Okay. No.”

In addition to shutting down the casting rumors, Andy said that when it came to Jennifer, “I wish her well.”

“[But] wait until Bravo or I [say] something. How about that?” he added.

As RHONJ fans will recall, Andy caused a stir months ago when he seemed to confirm that the upcoming season would include “all fresh faces.” However, after making the statement, he backpedaled, telling listeners of his radio show that nothing was set in stone.

“I was just riffing and I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ You know, [a caller] had not heard that we are, you know, gonna reimagine the show in some way and I was just, I’m like, ‘Yeah, well, we’re rebooting it. That’s why. We got it,’ and she was kind of yammering on about Teresa and this and I go, ‘Yeah, well, you know what? Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces,’” Andy recalled. “[I was] not definitively saying it’s going to be all fresh faces. I was like, ‘Maybe all fresh faces, maybe not.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15 is expected to go into production sometime in 2025.
