Love Leland USA season seven has been jam-packed with excitement for better and for worse. Now, the host of the show, Ariana, is opening up about some of the difficulties that arose throughout this installment. Additionally, there’s been a bit of a change to the reunion as it has just been announced that she will have a well-known hosting partner.

Regarding some of the low points of the season, Cierra Ortega recently left the show. This came after multiple anti-Asian posts from her past resurfaced online, and many fans called for her exit. She has since spoken out about the social media posts, and so have her parents.

Amid the drama, Ariana has faced some backlash for not speaking out about the racist posts of the controversial cast members, leading to some speculation on whether Ariana will be returning to host Love Island USA next season. However, according to Ariana, she will be back.

She took to the comments section of a TikTok video to respond to a fan comment, writing, “Thank you. I’m not leaving. I’ll see you guys really soon.”

Ariana was also a guest on Love Island USA: Aftersun on July 12. While on the show, the former Vanderpump Rules star became emotional as she discussed the season as a whole. “It’s been a really tough season for a lot of reasons,” Ariana said. “I think for them, the islanders who were eliminated. I think for me, there’s been a lot of stuff that’s just been crazy.”

She fought back tears as she continued, saying, “And I just want them to know and any islander that has also left the villa at this point, I just want them all to know how much I like genuinely really love and appreciate them for putting themselves out there and for gassing me up when I come in, too because I always hope that I get to bring good news, but I know… sometimes I’m the Glam Reaper.”

The host of the show then chimed in, stating how much the islanders appreciate Ariana. She responded, “The feeling is mutual.” In other Love Island USA news, US Weekly recently confirmed that there will be a reunion for season seven. However, this time, Ariana won’t host it solo. Instead, Andy Cohen will tap in as co-host. It will premiere on August 25.

According to the press release, the reunion “will feature this season’s winners, fan-favorite couples, and this year’s bombshells for an up-close and personal look back at their experience in the Villa.” Regarding the winners, it was announced on the July 13 finale that Amaya Espinal, 25, and Bryan Arenales, 28, came out on top in the public vote.
