Ariana Madix Reveals What Vanderpump Rules Editors Cut From Season 11: ‘Frustrating’

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules was a hot mess, and in more ways than one. Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix were no longer romantically involved, thanks to Scandoval. But, there were still a few things drawing them together, one being their shared home. The former couple bought their multi-million dollar home back in 2019. And, after their public split, this living arrangement quickly turned into a nightmare.

Season 11 showcased the two exes still living together, but avoiding communicating and seeing each other at all costs. Tom tried to buy Ariana out of the home, and she countered his request with a chaotic lawsuit. On camera, she was depicted as the difficult one, not willing to barter and insisting on the drama. And because of this, she has quite the bone to pick with Bravo.

Ariana Madix says Pump Rules editors turned her scenes “into some sort of other story”

Ariana recently called out Bravo for how she was perceived during her home arrangements during her split from Tom. According to her, the network spun the storyline to fit its own creative plan.

“I was like, “Look, I’m putting all my boxes in my room; my room is my apartment.” And then they come in and film, and they don’t talk about me trying to move, they cut all the scenes of me with a real estate agent. They cut all the stuff of me talking about meeting with a lender, and turn it into some sort of other story,” she told Variety.

The reality TV star did however take full credit for being angry and unleashing in certain moments during Season 11. In fact, she’s proud of it.

“I think that we as women are conditioned not to show our rage. And so many times, even other women will come at you for that. But I am very inspired by female rage. I find it beautiful.”

Fast forward to now, and Tom and Ariana still haven’t fully resolved their housing crisis. There is still no confirmation that the home has been sold. Ariana gave an update in May 2025, stating that it’s “hopefully wrapping up soon”.
