Austen Kroll is making some notable changes to his Charleston house.
Even though the place was already in stunning shape (as you can watch in the video above), the Southern Charm cast member just made a major kitchen renovation that immediately beautified his space. In a March 6 Instagram Story, Austen re-shared a snapshot from his castmate Rodrigo Reyes's design page. In the snapshot, it was revealed Rodrigo and his company swapped out Austen's previous countertops for a brighter white-and-gray marble flecked type.
"I think he likes his new countertops," Rodrigo wrote over the photo where Austen was standing proudly in his new kitchen that looked lighter, and slightly more elevated, with the switch.
Austen expressed his approval of the new design, writing, "So, [Rodrigo] stepped in and made it happen in less than [two] weeks!" The Trop Hop beer founder also teased another forthcoming kitchen project by saying, "Backsplash up next."
Just for reference, here is how Austen's kitchen looked before he and Rodrigo traded out the old countertops:

In addition to the kitchen upgrade, Austen has made changes to other parts of his home, including to his bedrooms and living room.
While giving BravoTV.com a tour of his home in the video above, Austen revealed another part of his home he's working on changing: the primary bathroom.
"This is the next area of the house that I need to do," Austen shared as he stepped into the space. "So, my next project will be the bathroom...unless I decide to buy another house."
Here, see what Austen's bathroom looks like now:
Currently, the bathroom has a white-tiled shower plus a vanity with white cabinetry and speckled countertop.

Austen also noted some of the other upgrades he has in his home, including the eye-catching chandelier added to his dining area courtesy of his mother.
Moreover, the beer entrepreneur explained why he purchased a $12,000 charcoal gray sectional sofa for his living room.
"Couches are expensive," he explained. "And I did not realize that at all."
