Fans of The Bachelor are growing skeptical of the hit show’s upcoming season after season 29 star Grant Ellis received backlash for his promotional video.
The star was first introduced to Bachelor Nation on The Bachelorette Season 21 starring Jenn Tran.
Initially, fans fell in love with Grant, even vouching for him when Tran sent him home during week six’s rose ceremony.
Upon ABC announcing him as the upcoming Bachelor succeeding Joey Graziadei, viewers were even rooting Grant’s future journey.

But the show’s promo video for Grant’s season, which was released last month, had fans claiming that The Bachelor was on its ‘last legs’.

In the clip, Grant is seen sharing fun facts about himself with Bachelor Nation fans.
After he labeled himself as a ‘mama’s boy,’ fans are questioning whether Grant will successfully find love as they lose hope in the franchise.
One fan predicted that his relationship won’t last, sharing to Reddit: “Wishing Grant happiness but him and his ring winner won’t last.”

“I hope he gets a bag for his upcoming suffering being the Bachelor," they finished.
“Very cute. But “mama’s boy day trader” legit made me gasp in fear hahaha,” another wrote.
A third claimed: “See you in September on DWTS,” as a nod to Jenn, who joined Dancing with the Stars following her brutal dumping on her Bachelorette season.
