Bachelor In Paradise Reveals Shocking Location Change Amid Signs Producers Are Retooling The Show (SPOILERS)

According to Reality SteveBachelor in Paradise season 10 is changing its filming location from Mexico to Costa Rica. Reality Steve shared that he originally inaccurately reported that the show would film in Mexico at the Costa Sur Hotel. He stated that he didn't know if something fell through, or it was never the case. Reality Steve also shared that it won't be filming in Sayulita at the Playa Escondida Hotel, where most of the previous seasons were filmed. Instead, the show will take place in Costa Rica, but Reality Steve didn't know the exact hotel.

Reality Steve also shared that Bachelor in Paradise season 10 will begin filming at the start of next week at the beginning of May, so his guess was that contestants would be flying out this upcoming weekend. He also shared that he didn't know which contestants would be going, but he pointed out that if someone doesn't fly out next weekend, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're not on the show because they could stagger people's arrivals like they have in the past.

Reality Steve added that he wasn't sure if the producers are keeping the same format of the show because there's a new showrunner, so they might reboot the whole thing.

Bachelor In Paradise Needs A Fresh Start

Bachelor in Paradise season 10's location change means that the show will have a much-needed fresh start. None of the couples from Bachelor in Paradise seasons 8 and 9 lasted after the show, whether they left engaged or dating, which indicated that the format was no longer working. Although the show has led to several successful marriages in the past, seasons 8 and 9 were marred by twists that prevented the contestants from really getting to know each other, such as season 8's Split House twist when they were separated and had even less time together than usual.

A change of scenery might be just what Bachelor in Paradise needs in order to be successful again.
