Bachelor in Paradise season 10 spoilers finally reveal if there were any age-gap romances among the younger cast members and the Golden contestants.
In an Instagram post, Reality Steve revealed that there were no age-gap relationships during Bachelor in Paradise season 10, but two of the contestants did share a kiss. During one of the challenges, Sean McLaughlin, 28, made out with April Kirkwood, 67. However, it didn't lead to a romance.
In addition, Reality Steve shared that the Golden contestants participated in the same rose ceremonies as the younger contestants. April ended up giving a rose to Jonathon Johnson at one of the rose ceremonies to allow him to stay on the show after he didn't receive a rose. However, it was only a friendly gesture.
What Age-Gap Romances Could've Meant For Bachelor In Paradise Season 10
The Age-Gap Romances Would've Been Unprecedented In The Bachelor Franchise
Jesse and Wells faced a lot of backlash for their hopes for age-gap relationships, which is understandable because, for example, Sean and April have an almost 40-year age difference. Although April is young-at-heart, Sean is much too young for her. Even Dale Moss, who's the oldest male contestant at 36, has an almost 30-year age-gap with April.
Although they're married now, some people thought Bachelor in Paradise season 7 couples Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, who were 12 years apart, and Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin, who had a 15-year age difference, had too many years between them to last. It's hard to imagine that Bachelor Nation would've accepted an age-gap romance with a 40-year age difference.
Our Take On Bachelor In Paradise Season 10 Age-Gap Romances
It's A Relief To Hear That They Didn't Happen

Although Jesse and Wells were rooting for age-gap romances during Bachelor in Paradise season 10, I'm relieved to hear that they didn't happen. There's too much of an age difference between the Golden contestants and the traditional cast members. I don't want to see people wasting each other's time when they know that there's no future for them.
While I'm surprised to hear that April and Sean kissed, I'm sure that it was mostly for shock value. The Bachelor in Paradise producers knew that fans were wondering if the Golden contestants would mix with the younger ones, so it seems that they found a way to force it to happen during a challenge.
I don't want Bachelor in Paradise season 10 to be plagued by controversy. I want its comeback after a year-long hiatus to be successful so that it continues to air for many years to come. While I hope all of the contestants found love in Paradise, I want it to be with their own generations.
