Grant Ellis finally had time alone with his final three contestants. After going on one-on-one dates, the ladies were invited to spend the night with him for a Fantasy Suite date. However, Bachelor viewers think the producers sabotaged Zoe McGrady throughout the season, and especially during this week’s episode. Keep reading to find out why.
Grant Ellis Sends Zoe McGrady Home
Zoe McGrady was an early frontrunner on Season 29 of The Bachelor. The 27-year-old is a gorgeous and intelligent model and tech engineer based in New York City. She was exactly the type of woman Grant Ellis was looking for.
But her journey on the show was a little different than most contestants. Zoe was slow to open up to Grant, but it wasn’t entirely her fault. She never really got any alone time with him. Viewers were actually a little surprised when she made it to Hometown Dates without having a one-on-one date on the show. During their first solo date during her Hometown date, Zoe and Grant did a fake wedding shoot, which fans thought was odd.

During their date, Zoe opened up to Grant about not having a good relationship with her parents. He ended up giving her a rose, making her one of his three finalists.
Juliana Pasquarosa, Zoe McGrady, and Litia Garr all joined Grant in the Dominican Republic for one-on-one dates and a possible invite to the Fantasy Suites.
After their solo date, Grant and Zoe headed to the Fantasy Suite. The next time viewers saw them, they were walking on the beach, holding hands. Despite great nights with all three of the ladies, Grant had to send someone home. He ended up sending Zoe McGrady home, but one viewer said online that Zoe didn’t seem very surprised by the elimination. Another added, “This might be the most unbothered I’ve ever seen a F3 breakup go. From the lead and contestant.”
Bachelor Fans Accuse Producers Of Sabotage
Bachelor viewers weren’t happy with Zoe McGrady’s last moments on the reality show. They weren’t surprised she was sent home, but some fans think the producers intentionally sabotaged Zoe. How?
Grant Ellis had adventurous dates with Litia and Juliana. However, his solo time with Zoe was a low-key silent Yoga date. Sure, it was intimate, but it didn’t give the two any time to talk and get to know more about each other. Some fans thought that was unfair, given how little Zoe and Grant had spent together during the season. One fan even called the move “cruel” by the producers. Check out what else fans had to say about it:
- “Producers really doing Zoe dirty. Not only has she never had a one on one date and when she finally gets one on one time with Grant it has to be fully silent.”
- “The producers are definitely mad that Zoe didn’t cause enough drama so they’re setting her up with these horrible dates”
- “Production giving Zoe the silent date after hearing her tell Rachel she needs to ask him questions is DIABOLICAL”
- “Zoe needed to use her wrestling skills on producers because what do you mean a SILENT YOGA fantasy suite date???”
- “For Zoe to make it so far—the producers were doing her dirty.”
