The Bachelorette season 21 starring Jenn Tran premieres on July 8, and Reality Steve reports that one of her contestants self-eliminated from the show. Jenn, a 26-year-old physician assistant student from Hillsdale, New Jersey, who's currently living in Miami, Florida, got her start in Joey Graziadei's Bachelor season. She told him that she was falling in love with him, but he eliminated her right before his hometown dates. Now Jenn is ready to continue her journey to find love in The Bachelorette season 21.
"I don't know when it was, but I heard [Austin Ott] self-eliminated."
On his Daily Roundup podcast, Reality Steve revealed that Austin Ott, a 28-year-old from Vista, California, self-eliminated from The Bachelorette season 21. He said, "I don't know when it was, but I heard he self-eliminated." Self-elimination is fairly common on Bachelor franchise shows for various reasons. The Bachelor season 28 had three people say their own goodbyes to Joey, including Lauren Hollinger, Lexi Young, and runner-up Daisy Kent.
Jenn Tran’s Seattle Date Spoilers Revealed
Jenn Had Two One-On-One Dates In Seattle
The Bachelorette season 21 filmed in Seattle for the episode before the hometown dates. There were seven men there. In Seattle, Jenn went on two one-on-one dates, one with Marcus Shoberg and one with Jeremy Simon. There was also a five-on-one group date, which Reality Steve said "was like a call-in to a radio show." He added that, while he does know how many men were on each date, he doesn't know which men were in which location yet. He said that he's "working on" finding out.
Reality Steve's spoilers about Jenn's Bachelorette season have been scarce, which could possibly be because he had Joey's Bachelor ending wrong for the majority of the season. He was adamant that Joey had chosen Daisy, until he was proven wrong when Joey and Kelsey Anderson both posted separately from the same safe house during a "Happy Couples" weekend and accidentally spoiled the season. Reality Steve could be holding back until he's 100% certain that his spoilers are true. However, he has posted several pieces of information that indicate that Jenn's season will be very exciting.
It'll be interesting to hear why Austin self-eliminated from The Bachelor season 28. In the past, contestants have left their seasons for reasons such as a lack of chemistry with the lead, figuring out that their life's goals didn't align, or family obligations. In fact, Joan Vassos, the upcoming lead of The Golden Bachelorette, self-eliminated to return home to her daughter who needed her, despite having a strong connection with Gerry Turner. Hopefully, Austin's self-elimination won't be too heartbreaking for Jenn. She deserves to find her happily-ever-after.
