‘Bachelorette’ Star Teases She Might Have Gotten Married

A former lead from “The Bachelorette” celebrated her recent engagement with a big party. Katie Thurston posted some highlights from the event on social media, and in one, she suggested she and her fiance Jeff Arcuri may have already gotten married.

Thurston shared highlights from the engagement party via her Instagram page on December 1. “About last night,” she wrote in the caption.

The party was held in Detroit, Michigan, at the Oak & Reel, according to the geotag in Thurston’s post. Arcuri is originally from Michigan.

She also shared some additional tidbits via her Instagram Stories. In one, she suggested that the engagement party turned out to be more of a wedding reception.

Thurston teasingly tossed out a question about whether they might have already gotten married. Based on her other posts related to the engagement party, however, it doesn’t seem they took that step yet.

In one Instagram Story, Thurston shared a photo showing her with Arcuri and captioned it, “Engagement Celebration. Let the wedding planning begin!”

“The next chapter is looking pretty great,” Thurston declared in another Instagram Story.

Thurston revealed her engagement news on September 15 in an Instagram post. “When you know, you know,” she captioned the post.

Throughout their whirlwind romance, the couple has been dating long distance. Arcuri lives in New York City, while Thurston has been in Los Angeles.

Just before announcing her engagement, however, Thurston revealed in an Instagram Story she would be moving to New York City in January.

Thurston’s post received a lot of love.

One comment on Thurston’s Instagram post read, “The way he looks at you. That’s exactly what you needed!!! Beyond thrilled that you two found each other!!!”

“The love and happiness you two give to one another is so pure 🤍 you both radiate that everlasting love type of glow, 🥹” wrote another supporter.

Someone else noted, “Happiness looks fantastic on you!”

A different Instagram user gushed, “I have loved you since you were a contestant on the bachelor! Always so grounded and have been true to who you are. I love it!! ❤️❤️ congratulations on your engagement!! I love watching both your content and your [fiance’s]!! 🥳🥂🤍🖤”

“Goals if I’ve ever seen them, 🫶❤️🫶❤️🫶” read another comment.

As Us Weekly noted, Thurston first joined Bachelor Nation as a contestant on Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor” in 2021. She was then tapped to lead season 17 of “The Bachelorette.”

Thurston left “The Bachelorette” engaged to Blake Moynes, but the relationship didn’t last long. She went on to date another contestant from her season, John Hersey, for a while as well.

After she split with Hersey, Thurston joined season 3 of “FBoy Island.” The relationship she developed on that show ended quickly, too. Thurston and Arcuri first connected online in the spring and fell head over heels for one another very quickly.
