The Tuesday, January 21, show on the “Dancing With the Stars” live tour has been canceled. The announcement was made on the official DWTS Tour Instagram account hours before scheduled showtime.
“Due to the mayor of buffalo declaring a State of Emergency with the ongoing lake effect snow storm, tonight’s show at shea’s has been postponed. New information about this show will be provided to ticket purchasers via the official ticket provider and venue channels once it is available. We send our best wishes to everyone in and around buffalo impacted by the storm,” read the message.
The area, which often receives heavy snowfall due to its proximity to the Great Lakes, is expecting 4 to 8 inches of snowfall in the coming hours. The current temperature is about 12 degrees.
Many fans who had tickets for Tuesday night’s show were saddened to hear that it has been canceled. However, many are grateful that the decision was made due to the frigid temperatures and potentially dangerous conditions in the area.
“Im so sad! But understand this decision. It’s a cold one today,” one person commented on the post.
“So sad we won’t see you tonight but we’ll see you on the rescheduled date! It doesn’t always snow here!!!” someone else added.
“I’m so sad!! hope that everyone stays safe,” a third comment read.
“Was so worried about trying to get there tonight. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the new date,” a fourth Instagram user said.

Season 33 “Dancing With the Stars” champs Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson were slated to make their tour debut on January 21. The dancing duo is excited to bring some of their memorable moves to the tour for a few select dates.
Both Graziadei and Johnson arrived in Buffalo and were rehearsing for the show prior to the cancelation.
“Snowy welcome to Buffalo on my first day of tour,” Graziadei captioned a post on his Instagram Stories earlier in the day.
After the announcement that the show was canceled, Graziadei was back on his Stories with a sad face emoji, re-sharing the news.
As for Johnson, she arrived ahead of today’s show, posting from her Instagram Stories around 7:30am local time.
“Good morning, Buffalo. It’s a show day,” she captioned a post of a very cold-looking landscape.
