Brittany Cartwright Begs To Be The Next Bachelorette
It’s been over a year since The Valley star, Brittany Cartwright, split from Jax Taylor. They had been married for nearly five years when this happened and shared a son, Cruz. The demise of their marriage played out in the show’s first season and came to a head in the finale. Since then, Brittany has filed for divorce while focusing on being the best mother possible. She had previously shared that their son was struggling and confessed that Jax’s addiction did not help. Recently, Brittany revealed that Cruz is autistic but is so grateful to be his mother. At the same time, she is ready to get out there and have some fun.
Brittany did date a little but nothing serious, so could The Bachelorette be her next stop? She recently shared that she is ready to jump back into the dating scene. More so, the Vanderpump Rules alum asked Bravo to give her a dating series. If that did not pan out, she had her sights set on Bachelor Nation:
“Mama is ready to date! I am not holding back anymore. Bravo, give me a dating show, I’m here for it. I am down. Make me the Bachelorette!”
It seems like she would rather have someone else do the picking as opposed to herself after her disastrous relationship with Jax. He had cheated on her during Season 6 of VPR and then had a lot of personal issues he was never willing to address. Jax finally entered treatment during Season 2 of The Valley to help with his mental health.
He has since confessed to having a two-decade-long cocaine addiction and is over one hundred days sober. After Brittany Cartwright left Jax, she shared that she has dated but nothing serious. However, the time is right:
“I deserve to have butterflies again. just want somebody to be nice to me, and that’s sad. I just really want somebody to take me on dates. It doesn’t even have to be anything fancy. Something sweet, something small, will make my day.”
Simple Pleasures
As for what Brittany Cartwright wants from a date and a partner, she admits that she is a down-home Kentucky girl. Yes, she can be fancy, but she is perfectly content having a picnic or watching a movie in the back of a truck. She knows what she wants, and that would be perfect for The Bachelorette. Plus, she is craving fun while she waits for Mr. Right to come along:
“I’m also just wanting to have some fun, until I do find that right person again. I got to make sure that it’s somebody that loves kids. That’s something that’s very important to me.”
