Brittany Cartwright Gives Update on Her Dating Life & Moving Out of L.A

Brittany Cartwright gave a life update during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.” While speaking on the April 29 episode of the Bravo reality show, “The Valley” star was asked if there’s any chance she could reconcile with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, more than a year after their split.

Cartwright also gave an update on her fling with Taylor’s friend, Julian Sensley, and addressed questions about moving back to her home state of Kentucky.

Brittany Cartwright Said There’s No Chance She Will Ever Get Back Together With Jax Taylor

In February 2024, Cartwright and Taylor separated after nearly five years of marriage. The Kentucky native had Taylor served with divorce papers while filming the second season of “The Valley” last summer.

During her WWHL appearance, Cartwright was asked if there’s any chance that she would get back together with Taylor. She shut the idea down completely.

“No,“ she told host Andy Cohen. “One hundred percent no. I had weak moments, for sure. I was with him for 10 years, and obviously I loved him and want nothing but the best for him. But he has damaged our relationship far too much to go back.”

Cohen then asked Cartwright where she stands with Sensley, Taylor’s former friend, whom she admittedly hooked up with after their separation.

“Julian and I do not speak,” Cartwright said. “ We have not spoken in a long time. He also lied to me about a lot of things. I, for some reason, like red flags. I need to change my picker,” she added. “But no, we do not talk.  But I feel like he was necessary in that time of my life because my confidence was at an all-time low, and he made me feel beautiful and he made me feel seen, he made me feel special. And I needed that  at that moment.”

Cartwright confirmed that she is not dating anyone right now.

Elsewhere on WWHL,  Cartwright was asked if she ever considered taking her 4-year-old  son, Cruz, and moving back to Kentucky after her split from Taylor.

“In L.A. there’s just a lot going on,” she said, “and I need to be able to support my son, and I feel like L.A. is the best place for that right now. There’s so many more opportunities there. There’s a lot more I can do.”

Cartwright also noted that she already has Cruz in programs amid his autism diagnosis. In early April, the Bravo star told fans that her son was diagnosed with autism.  “I’ve already got Cruz set up in all the therapies and everything that he has,” she said on WWHL. “And his support group is so incredible. They love him so much. They care about everything in his life just as much as I do. And I don’t really want to change up what’s happening at this moment. But I love Kentucky, I love visiting home. I’m a Kentucky girl all the way through and through.’

In an April 2025 interview with People magazine, Cartwright said she has no plans to sell the Valley Village house she purchased with Taylor when they married. “This is my house,” she said. “I’m proud of myself, that I could do it by myself.”
