Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent, & Scheana Shay’s Kids Just Marked a Milestone Together

Another day, another proud momma moment for Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent, and Scheana Shay.

On June 17, the Vanderpump Rules alums returned to Instagram to celebrate their firstborns’ last day of pre-school. Lala documented the milestone in the cutest video shot outside her home’s front door, where her oldest daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, donned a big ol' smile while showing off her “last day of pre-school" board.

“Happy celebration for my last day of school!” Ocean said.

“Woohoo! Good work!” Lala shouted from behind the camera. “You killed your first year, babe! Good job. I’m so proud of you.”

The carousel also featured photos of Ocean and Lala making funny faces in the classroom, as well as a close-up shot of Ocean’s “last day of pre-school" board. The colorful piece provided cute details about the Vanderpump Rules daughter, including her favorite color (hot pink), height (3 feet, 4 inches), and favorite memory of the academic year (“playing in the big yard”).

Scheana also marked her daughter’s last day of school with an adorable Instagram post, which showed her girl, Summer Moon Honey Davies, on the first and last day of pre-school. One of the shots showed Summer Moon’s “about me” board, which featured the same template as Ocean’s. It revealed Summer Moon’s favorite food (broccoli), favorite book (The Wide-Mouthed Frog), and favorite song (Scheana’s now-iconic track, “Good as Gold”). 

“And just like that, the first year of school is over!” Scheana captioned the post, which included a shot of Summer Moon, Ocean, and their classmate Cruz Michael Cauchi.

Cruz’s mom, The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright, reshared the group shot in a June 17 Instagram Story, revealing why all three kids were rocking PJs. 

“Last day of school and pajama day,” she captioned the snap. “They were over the pics at this point lol we love you Ocean and Summer!”

How motherhood has bonded Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent, & Scheana Shay.

Brittany, who shares Cruz with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, spoke about motherhood in a 2021 interview with Us Weekly, explaining how it helped her, Lala, and Scheana become much closer. Brittany gave birth to Cruz on April 12, 2021, less than a month after Lala welcomed Ocean (March 15, 2021), and several weeks before Scheana and her husband, Brock Davies, welcomed Summer Moon (April 26, 2021).

“We have group chats. We all talk every day,” Brittany told the outlet about her former castmates. “We all just bounce things off each other. It’s kind of like, ‘I just went through this.’ It’s perfect. Honestly, we’re a lot closer. And even, like, Scheana and Lala… they’re talking and stuff and they’ve had their issues. So being a parent just puts your priorities in check.”
