Brittany Cartwright Pitches Dating Show Idea to Bravo

I Cannot Wait!” Brittany Cartwright Takes Control of Podcast After Split From Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright is ready to find love more than a year after her split from Jax Taylor.

In an April 2025 interview with People magazine, “The Valley” star said she wants to make a big jump back into the dating pool, and she asked for some help from the network she’s been affiliated with for the past decade

“Mama is ready to date!” Cartwright, 36, told the outlet. “I am not holding back anymore. Bravo, give me a dating show, I’m here for it. I am down. Make me the Bachelorette!”

Cartwright clarified that fantasy suite dream dates are not required. “I’m just a girl from Kentucky, and we could watch a movie on the back of a truck, or we could have a picnic. It doesn’t matter. I just want to do fun things and feel that excitement of liking somebody again,” she said.

Brittany Cartwright Previously Said She ‘Never Expected’ to Be Single Again

Cartwright was with Taylor for nearly a decade before they split up in February 2024. In April 2024, she told Us Weekly that the thought of dating felt “so weird” after being with her ex for so long.

In a September 2024 interview with The U.S. Sun,  she admitted that she “never expected” that she wouldn’t spend the rest of her life with Taylor after marrying him in 2019. “I thought he was my lifelong partner,” she said at the time. “So, I’ve got a lot of things I gotta work on myself. But I do feel really good, and I am enjoying being single, nothing serious right now. But, you know, it’s fun.”

Another Bravo Star Got a Dating Show After Asking

Cartwright isn’t the first Bravo TV celebrity to ask for a dating show. During a November 2023 appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef” podcast, “Real Housewives of New York City” star Luann de Lesseps joked that Bravo owed her a dating show.

“I think they definitely, could, you know, Bravo could really find me a man,” the RHONY OG told Yontef. “I mean, come on, I put in some years with them. It’s the least they can do. I would like to have a dating show.  It makes sense to me. I’m single, you know, that would be awesome. I can’t think of anything better than having producers cast men for me.”

It wasn’t long after that de Lesseps was cast for the upcoming new reality show “Love Hotel.”

The “Real Housewives” themed dating show, set to debut on April 27, features de Lesseps and three other divorced stars from the franchise: “Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, and “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Shannon Storms Beador.

According to a press release shared by Bravo TV, “Love Hotel” filmed at the Grand Velas Boutique Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, in the fall of 2024 where the women mingled “with a group of eligible bachelors, each vying for the chance to win their hearts and put the ‘wives’ back in ‘Housewives.’”
