In a new Instagram video, Cartwright addressed fans to express her excitement over the move. “I am just so excited because I just finished my shoot to do a whole rebrand for ‘When Reality Hits,’” she shared. “So I’m fully taking it over. I cannot wait for you guys to see this photoshoot.”

Brittany Previously Split the Podcast With Jax Taylor
Cartright and Taylor first launched the podcast in 2023. Amid their split in early 2024, they promised fans the podcast would go on. Taylor began to do separate “In The Mind of a Man” installments, while Cartwright hosted solo episodes on alternate weeks.
Following the news that “When Reality Hits” will have a full rebrand, fans offered congratulations to Cartwright.
“Atta girl. Moving forward ❤️ ,” one commenter wrote.

Brittany Cartwright Will Also Open Her Own Bar
The podcast change isn’t Cartwright’s only business venture. Not long after she filed for divorce from Taylor, she announced she was opening her own bar.
“Britt’s is coming to WeHo,” she said on a November episode of “When Reality Hits.” “I’m going to be a part owner. …I’m gonna have own my own bar in West Hollywood. Right across from where I started, SUR.”
During a February 2025 episode of her podcast, Cartwright teased the new bar would open in late March. “I cannot wait for it to open,” she added. “I just cannot wait to get it all together and see it all together. This is just another thing that I’m going to keep myself busy with and I’m so excited.”
