Earlier this week Brittany Mahomes took to social media to share an update on her pregnancy with a glamorous photoshoot.
Just a few months ago Brittany and Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback husband Patrick Mahomes announced they were expecting their third child - and Brittany's new photoshoot had fans speculating on the name. The couple already shared daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick "Bronze" Mahomes, who just two years old on Thanksgiving, and also have two dogs, Silver and Steele.
With Bronze and Silver already taken, fans started guessing the newest member of the family - a baby girl - will be named Goldie.
Just a few hours after the speculation, Brittany took to her social media page to let everyone know she's still hitting the gym hard even though she's deep into her pregnancy. "We workinnnn," she said in the post with a couple flexing emojis.
While Brittany has things covered off the field, Patrick and the Chiefs are chasing a third-straight Super Bowl. Over the weekend Kansas City clinched a playoff spot and kept their hold on the No. 1 seed, but Mahomes knows the job isn't finished.
"When you clinch a playoff spot, that's your first goal, to get into the playoffs and give yourself a chance to go for that Super Bowl," he said, via ESPN. "But we know we have a long ways to go. We got to continue to work to get better, to continue to be a better football team.
"It keeps you hungry. You're not satisfied with where we're at even though we're winning football games, and so we know we have to get better. I think everybody in the locker room knows we have to get better, but we want to go out there and do that and prove that."
Up next for the Chiefs is divisional showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.
