Brock Davies Has Update on Kids From Previous Relationship: “Consequences of My Actions”

Scheana Shay's fiancé on why he hasn't spoken to kids in years

Expanding their family is on the minds of Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, as their friends in The Valley, Kristen Doute and Nia Booko, are going through their own baby journeys right now. The couple are the parents of nearly-4-year-old Summer Moon Honey.

“I will be more than happy to expand this family,” Brock told Jason Caperna on The Valley Season 2 After Show. “Not just for my selfish reasons. I want Summer to have a sibling going through life with, you know?”

Summer has two half-siblings, a boy and a girl from the Vanderpump Rules cast member’s previous marriage. Jason pointed out that Brock is trying to help get a relationship between his other children and Summer.

“I know you’ve been working really hard to get more of a relationship with your other kids, so hopefully they get in the fold more, and that grows the family as well, right?” he asked on the After Show.

Brock gives an update on his relationship with his children in Australia

Brock has been very candid since joining Vanderpump Rules that he has not seen his older daughter or son in years. The children live in Australia with their mother and stepfather. On the After Show, Brock shared that he’s still working to have his older children join his family.

“As much as I would love that, it’s a consequence of my actions, and the kids are in a great family environment,” he explained. “So, for me to expect that, or want that, it’s one thing. And it’s up to them when they’re ready. So, I just have to put myself in that position.”

Brock shares more history on his relationship with his older children

Andy Cohen tried to help clear the air on Brock’s situation with his children on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in November 2021. Although at one point a restraining order came up on Vanderpump Rules, it is no longer in place. He also shared at the time he was not FaceTiming his children, and that his ex asked him not to communicate with the children until he was caught up on child support.

“It’s not a simple relationship break-up. This happened, what, seven years ago,” he said on WWHL. “And we’ve gone through it since then. So, it’s been an issue. And out of respect for my ex and the kids, I have to try to walk that tight line.”

Scheana, Brock, and Summer went on vacation to Australia for the holidays in December 2023. On their podcast, Scheananigans, he admitted he did not see his children while down under.

“It’s a tough one. I wish I could tell everybody like, ‘Yeah we’re going, we’re meeting up, we’re doing this,’ but it’s gonna take time,” he said at the time. “We’re dealing with kids… There’s a whole bunch of things changing in their life and I don’t want to be another one in there. I think they have a loving dad, a loving half-sister, and a beautiful family. So, you know, right now that’s not their priority and I understand that.”

Brock shared on The Valley After Show that a relationship with his children is still something he’s pursuing.

“But yeah, it’s a work in progress, and I’m the progress, so I just gotta keep working at it,” he said.
