Broncos Land Rams All-Pro Receiver in Latest Offseason Prediction

With the Denver Broncos needing to add more weapons for Bo Nix, the Broncos are expected to look everywhere for that help. With the free agent class at wide receiver, tight end, and running back not strong, the Broncos may look to the trade market.

In the latest article predicting a move for each team, Jarrett Bailey of USA Today predicts that the Broncos will trade for the Los Angeles Rams' All-Pro receiver Cooper Kupp.

Adding Kupp to the Broncos' offense would elevate the offense for Nix and give the Broncos a great slot option. Kupp pairs up greatly with Courtland Sutton and compliments the rest of the receivers the Broncos have in-house.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (10) catches a pass against the Philadelphia Eagles in the first half in a 2025 NFC divisional round game.

A huge factor why this move would make sense for the Broncos is the cost. The Rams are unlikely to get much more than a day-three pick in the NFL Draft. Denver can easily afford that cost and would immediately add an impact receiver to help Nix develop.

Head coach Sean Payton had Michael Thomas with the New Orleans Saints, and Kupp would be the closest thing to Thomas that Payton would have since his time in New Orleans.

Kupp is going to be 32 years old for the 2025 season and will likely not be a long-term solution for the Broncos. But landing Kupp would be a huge get for Nix and elevate the Denver offense overall.
