One of the biggest needs for the Denver Broncos this offseason is adding weapons for their new franchise quarterback, Bo Nix.

The Broncos had their first 1,000-yard wide receiver since 2019 with Courtland Sutton this past season, but it's safe to say they can add another playmaking wide receiver.

Garrett Podell of CBS Sports named the Broncos as a potential landing spot for New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams.

"Head coach Sean Payton has his guy at the quarterback position, so maybe he looks to supply Nix with more firepower," Podell explained.

ESPN's Adam Schefter mentioned on the "Pat McAfee Show" that with the Jets making the decision to move on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, he would expect them to move on from Adams as well.

Entering the final two seasons of his current contract, Adams does not have anymore guaranteed money left on his deal which makes it easier for the Jets to move on from him.

Last season, Adams was traded after he appeared in three games with the Las Vegas Raiders where he caught just one touchdown and had 209 yards receiving. Adams was then traded to the Jets where he scored seven touchdowns and had 854 yards receiving in 11 games.

Adding Adams to the WR room could help by by having another veteran presence to the young crowd. Currently the wide receiver room consists of Marvin Mims, who just completed his second season in the NFL, rookie receivers in Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele. Sutton is the oldest veteran in the room and just completed his seventh season in the NFL.

On Feb. 5, Broncos head coach Sean Payton joined Kay Adams and said that the veteran wide receiver position is a "need" this offseason.

If the Broncos want to continue to give Nix more weapons, it's safe to say that Adams would be a great safety blanket for the young quarterback.
