Browns star hints that he is more than ready for Deshaun Watson to leave Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns have officially wrapped up their worst season since 2019 when they went 6-10. And while the season is over, the offseason will feature many questions surrounding the quarterback position and what the Browns will do with Deshaun Watson. That said, it appears at least one star is ready for the Browns to move on from the polarizing quarterback and start anew.

Offensive tackle Jack Conklin was asked about how the Browns could make things work with Watson, but said the team can't build their entire identity around one person.

"Creating our own identity is what this team needs," Conklin said. "I think creating around an individual makes things tough for everybody else."

The Browns catered everything they do offensively to try and make things work with Watson, but he is simply a bad quarterback - historically bad. And with how this season went, it would be malpractice to try and run things back with him in 2025.
