Ask anyone outside of Philadelphia about Eagles fans... you already know what they'll say.
"They're wild." They're crazy." "They're the worst."
Even opposing players agree. Eli Manning and Bryce Young were the latest to share their experiences, sharing their stories while sharing the stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Friday morning.
Eli Manning calls Eagles fans his ‘most interesting interaction’
Manning took the spotlight alongside his brother Peyton and three of the NFL’s brightest young quarterbacks: Young, Caleb Williams, and C.J. Stroud. When asked about their most memorable fan interactions, four of the five paused to think—but not Manning.
“None of ya’ll have played in Philadelphia yet, so just giving you a warning now,” Manning told the current QBs. “Please don’t be shocked when you go out for pregame and see a nine-year-old giving you the double bird.”
“They’ve been doing it for 20 years. They teach it down there."
Manning struggled when he played in Philadelphia, finishing his career with a 6-10 record. While he wasn't able to defy the harsh environment, he isn't the only player to feel the heat.
Bryce Young details his 2025 experience in Philly
Young entered year two of his NFL career in 2025, turning around his career that had already been given up on by some around the league. One of his breakout games was in early December, when the Panthers nearly knocked off the Super Bowl winning-Eagles.
Young shared a story about his own family, most of whom are Eagles fans, and how they made sure he remembered who came out on top:
“I have family from Philly,” Young said. “Right after [we lost], I went to the friends and family section, and the game had ended maybe 50 minutes before. I come out, hug my parents, and everyone else was like, ‘You guys almost beat us. Don’t ever do that again. We got y’all. We killed y’all.’ And I’m like, ‘Dude, I just got done playing like 50 minutes ago… please don’t do this.’”
Young went 19-for-34 for 191 yards and a touchdown in a game that came down to the wire. He did praise the family members that stuck with the Birds over the family ties.
"Even being connected to me, their loyalty was with the Eagles over where I was at," Young said. "Their loyalty is real."
