Carl Radke has a new love interest on Summer House Season 9, Lil Aronoff, and now he's spilling new details about the relationship.
The Soft Bar founder introduced his roommates to Lil during Season 9, Episode 6 at the "shipwrecked" party and hung out with her more at his event for Soft Bar during Summer House Season 9, Episode 8.
During the Summer House After Show, Carl shared new insight into his flirtationship with Lil, as seen in the video above. Carl revealed that she had attended the Fourth of July party where she caught his eye. But he didn't approach her until she attended the shipwreck-themed party because he explained he "wanted another chance to like, actually talk to her more at the party."
Carl continued to open up about why he hasn't rushed into a relationship since breaking off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard, but he is certainly looking to settle down.
"As I've gotten older, I've certainly felt — I've seen my best friends get married, I have a lot of close friends that have had children. And so you start comparing yourself to where other people are," he explained. "Then I look around, and I'm the only single guy. I mean, I'm not, but I just turned 40, and I don't know if men can have biological clocks, but...I'm getting older."
Lil is an NYC-based fitness instructor who started DMing Carl in the Fall 2023. He had first met her parents while attending a soccer game, and then connected with Lil online afterward.
"Lil slid into my DMs. We started messaging in October, and fast forward, it's now summer," he said during Summer House Season 9, Episode 6.
Things between Carl and Lindsay became tense during Summer House Season 9, Episode 8, when Gabby Prescod told Lindsay about the alleged timeline of Carl and Lil DMing one another. This seemingly confirmed Lindsay's suspicions that Carl had been talking to other women before ending things between them. "You're a f--king fraud, you're a phony, you're a liar, and now I'm adding cheater to your f--king resumé," Lindsay said of Carl to Gabby.
Carl addressed Lindsay's suspicions during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, April 2, and denied DMing other women while still in a relationship with Lindsay.
"I think it's a little convenient that all of this time has passed, and now she's bringing that out," he said. "I wasn't DMing or doing anything wrong. We do get a lot of messages. I do respond. But I wasn't playing any games."
Carl appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on Wednesday, where he revealed that he is "not dating" Lil.
"I'm currently single, really focused on work and taking care of myself, and I feel like if I keep focusing on those things, I'll find someone organically," he explained. But that doesn't mean that people haven't tried to date Carl.
"My DMs over the past week and a half have been particularly crazy, it's a little overwhelming... I'd love to meet someone, but I'm probably going to take my time," he concluded.
