“Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” star Catelynn Baltierra celebrated her daughter, Novalee’s 10th birthday with two Instagram uploads.
On December 31, Baltierra let her Instagram followers know that her daughter was turning 10 on January 1. She shared several pictures of Novalee, whom she shares with her husband, Tyler Baltierra.
“Tomorrow we wake up and have a 10 year old 😭 people are not joking when they say time flys when it comes to your kids! We are blessed to have Nova as our daughter! She is beyond kind and thoughtful!!! ❤️❤️ @tylerbaltierramtv,” wrote Baltierra in the post’s caption.
Several fans gave Novalee well wishes in the post’s comments section.
“Happy Birthday, Nova! Continue to shine as bright as your personality! 🤍,” wrote a commenter.
“oh nova! happy birthday you sweet girl! mommy has done such an amazing job at bringing you up. you remind me of her big heart so much!” added another.
“Happy Birthday Nova! You’re kind-thoughtful and adorable kid. We love you! 🤗❤️❤️❤️,” shared a different person.
Novalee Had Some Difficulty on Her Birthday
On January 1, Catelynn Baltierra uploaded an Instagram video of Novalee blowing out her birthday candles. While Baltierra filmed the video, her daughter had difficulty blowing out the flames. Novalee ended up enlisting her 5-year-old sister, Vaeda’s help while their youngest sibling, Rya, 2, watched on. Novalee was unable to successfully blow out the candles by the time the video ended.

In a June 2024 interview with Us Weekly about Father’s Day, Tyler Baltierra spoke about being a father to girls. Baltierra said he believes he needs to show his daughters “strength” and “softness.” In addition, Baltierra said he and his wife often have candid conversations with their daughters.
“Me and Cate always sit down and kind of do check-ins with our kids. I want all the girls to know that the stage is theirs whenever they need it. I think it’s important to be heard,” said Baltierra during the Us Weekly interview.
While speaking to Us Weekly, Baltierra mentioned that he and his wife’s eldest daughter, Carly, 15, was adopted shortly after her birth by Brandon and Teresa Davis. According to Baltierra, “Carly’s always the first one” he thinks of on Father’s Day.
“I always wake up to little gifts here and there, and so I always think about, ‘Wow, what would it be like to have an almost 15-year-old saying, ‘Hey, happy Father’s Day dad.’ It hits you like a ton of bricks and it gets more intense as the kids get older and the little gifts get more sentimental,” said Baltierra to Us Weekly. “I always think about her on that day, because she was the first. She’s the one that made me a dad in the first place. I definitely don’t ever have a Father’s Day without thinking about her.”
