Charles L. Shares a Very Special Message for ‘Golden Bachelorette’ Fans — Find Out What It Is!

Bachelor Nation got to know and love Charles L. on Joan Vassos’ season of “The Golden Bachelorette,” and he’s quickly become a fan favorite.

In last week’s episode, Charles was eliminated and Bachelor Nation fans were heartbroken to see him go home.

Podcast hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt sat down with Charles on a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” to discuss all things “Golden Bachelorette” and how he feels about his time on the show.

Joe started off the interview by asking Charles if he was shocked to get sent home, to which the Bachelor Nation star replied, “No.”

He said, “I sensed it. As I explained to you before, I have the data. I have the data why? Because I looked around me and I assessed that, to be honest, it’s just between this time or the next session. Everybody was getting closer… I knew.”

Serena then asked Charles if it’s sad for him that his time on the show has now come to an end.

He answered, “Yeah, in a sense it is. But on the other hand, we, the cast members, we support each other. We don’t compete with each other… In the end, Joan can only pick one gentleman and we’ll be very happy for whoever she’s going to pick. And I kind of sensed I’m not one of the few final ones.”

However, Charles did share that he feels like he built a friendship with Joan during their journey on “The Golden Bachelorette.”

He expressed, “If you compare the first time I met Joan and the first time I drank tea with her to the end when she hugged me when I didn’t receive the rose, we bonded and we liked each other.”

Charles continued, “But as you know, liking each other is one thing. To love each other is another thing. So I’m happy for Joan. She continues her journey to find the best one she really loves. So even though we don’t know yet, I’m happy for her and I’m happy for the lucky one in the end.”

Serena then asked Charles if he was expecting the outpouring of love for him from Bachelor Nation or if it’s been surprising, to which he responded that it’s the latter.

“It is a surprise,” he shared. “I hear from lots of fantastic fans. I love them and I thank them for the support.”

He finished by saying, “I guess they want to see me continue, but the reality is the reality… There’s one guy out there it seems like, probably, Joan loves more than Charles. So it’s okay. But in my heart, it is a little bit of a sad feeling as well.”
