Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany, is doing her part to direct people to foundations to help with relief.
By now, most of us have seen the images and videos of the wildfires that have ripped through Southern California, and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick, is doing her part to help.
With places like Malibu and Pacific Palisades nearly being completely destroyed by the fires and thousands of people being forced to evacuate their homes, it is a sad sight to see so many people suffering.
But Brittany is trying her best to direct people to foundations and organizations that are trying to organize relief for those affected by the fires.
Brittany posted on her Instagram story, pages of information for people to contact those organizations and help with anything they can to provide some relief to those who the fires have deeply impacted.
With Patrick and the Chiefs in playoff mode as they hunt a third successive Super Bowl ring, the L.A. wildfires have also impacted the playoff race, with the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings Wild Card clash set to be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, has now been moved to Arizona per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With so many people affected by the fires and so much damage done to people's homes and businesses, the once-picturesque views have now been replaced by burnt-out structures.
It isn't known how long the recovery effort will take, given that the fires are still uncontained, but Brittany is doing her best to make sure that those who can help in the recovery efforts know where to do so.
