Clare Crawley Reveals How She’ll Tell Her Daughter About Being on ‘The Bachelorette’

Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley got engaged to Ryan Dawkins in October 2022, shortly after introducing him to Bachelor Nation a month prior.

Early last year, the two officially tied the knot and welcomed a beautiful baby girl via surrogate in January 2024.

Now, Clare has recently shared with “E! News” in an

exclusive interview about how she plans on one day telling their daughter Rowen about her time on “The Bachelorette” and other Bachelor Nation shows.

Clare shared that she wants to send the message to Rowen that her mom tried her best and never gave up on finding love.

“Mom was putting herself out there. Mom was believing in herself. Mom was following her heart,” she said, talking about her message.

Clare continued, saying, “And regardless of if it’s a reality show or something else in life, I want to be the example for Rowen of, she followed her heart, she did what she wanted to do.”

Clare then explained how she always stayed optimistic about finding her person and how she knew it would happen one day.

She shared, “I know that sounds crazy coming from a 43-year-old woman who got married when I was 41. So, I don’t know what in my soul has always felt this, but I always believed deep in my heart that it was all going to happen for me, even when there was moments of doubt, like, ‘When is it going to happen?’”

Clare then opened up and revealed how she knew her husband Ryan was the one for her and how they first started dating.

After healing from a previous relationship, Clare reached out to Ryan, who she had met before, to see if he would be interested in going to a baseball game for a date.

She said, “I finally messaged him back, and I was like, ‘Hey, do you want to go to a baseball game?’ And that kind of started it off again, and we went to the game… It was just game on. We were together every day after that.”

Clare finished by reflecting on being a mom and how it feels to have those dreams that she always had now come true.

She expressed, “It’s everything more and better and bigger and just more expansive than I ever envisioned it to be. I knew I wanted to be a mom, always in my gut. But even the little tiny things like going to the pumpkin patch or wearing the little carrier with her in it when I go grocery shopping, all the everyday things truly bring me so much joy.”

We couldn’t be happier for Clare and Ryan and can’t wait to watch little Rowen grow up!
