Cleveland Browns Fans Send Unforgettable Message to Nick Chubb

The Nick Chubb era in the Land is now officially over. The running back and the Cleveland Browns have parted ways, with the star opting to take his talents to the Houston Texans by signing a one-year contract worth $2.5 million with the AFC South division franchise.

Chubb has played his entire NFL career thus far with the Browns, who selected him in the second round (35th overall) of the 2018 NFL draft, but will be seen in a different uniform, beginning in the 2025 campaign.

There was a feeling that Chubb would never see action again in the NFL, let alone with the Browns, after he suffered a gruesome knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023, but he managed to work his way back and play in the 2024 season, which turned out to be his last with Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns give Chubb praise amid end of RB’s time with team

As one of the best to ever do it in a Browns uniform while also being universally loved by Cleveland fans, Chubb deserves all the love he is getting from his former team. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Browns shared a video montage showing Chubb during his time with the team while enumerating the many accomplishments he had achieved in Cleveland threads.

In seven seasons with the Browns, Chubb rushed for 6,843 yards and 51 touchdowns through 85 games. The former Georgia Bulldogs star also earned four Pro Bowl nods during his time in Cleveland. He finishes his stint with the Browns as third all-time in franchise history in rushing yards and second with 30 100-yard rushing games.
