Cory Wharton Admits to ‘Teen Mom’ Fakery; Nathan Griffith’s Mom Seemingly Addresses Recent Situation with Jenelle Evans

From admitting to being shady on-camera, to (seemingly) shading your grandson’s mom, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next ChapterTeen Mom and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

Doris Davidson Talks About “Vengeance” In Facebook Sermon Seemingly Aimed at Jenelle Evans

“It’s just random. Not aimed at anyone…really.”

Doris hit Facebook this week to deliver a sermon all about “vengeance”— something the ‘Teen Mom 2’ grandma says she knows a little something about, thanks to recent events in her life.

Doris— who is the mother of Jenelle’s baby daddy Nathan Griffith— frequently posts Bible chats and religious sermons on her Facebook page, but her most-recent video seemed to be addressing Jenelle’s actions and the accusations she recently made about Doris.

As The Ashley previously reported, Jenelle took her son Kaiser to Doris’ Tennessee home last month, with plans for him to stay with his grandma “indefinitely.” After a few weeks, though, Jenelle scurried to Tennessee and yanked Kaiser from Doris’ home and brought him back to Las Vegas, due to the online backlash she was getting for her decision to leave Kaiser. Jenelle’s manager-turned-booooyfriend “Augusst Keen” later publicly accused Doris of doing some unsavory things, including “spreading gossip” about Kaiser “across the Internet.” Jenelle stated that she snatched Kaiser back from Doris because Doris had broken her “trust.”

During her sermon this week, Doris acknowledged that she has been persecuted by a certain person recently. (She does not mention Jenelle by name, however.)

“I told him not to knock that one up but did he listen? Nope.”

“These last few weeks, I’ve been through some major persecution,” Doris tells her followers in the video. “But I try to smile and go on. I pray for the ones that have hurt me. I said, ‘If God comes into their lives, if God enters their souls then, you know, that’s all I want. That would be my desire because I know they’ll be a changed person and I know they’ll live a much more content life, and not be so nasty to people. That would be my prayer for them.”

Doris mentions that, over the past few weeks (which is the same timeframe that “August” and Jenelle have publicly been slamming her), she’s had to stop herself from responding.

“Sometimes it gets hard…sometimes we have just got to hold our tongues. The last couple of weeks, I’ve had to just bite my tongue, because I wanted to say or do something that was not becoming of me, or was not becoming of God,” she says. “We’ve got to keep our peace and learn to pray for those people and know that they don’t have God inside of them. If they’re attacking you and persecuting you, they’re lacking the spirituality of God. And we do need to pray for them and pray that their soul will be saved.”

Doris then spoke about the person who has wronged her in the last few weeks.

“I’ve had them cuss me, call me every name in the book,” Doris said.

“Well that’s certainly sounds like my daughta, Juh-nelle!”

“And what I haven’t done, not one single solitary thing to them, and I’ve said to them, ‘You know, you’ve gone over that line. I’m placing you in the hands of God.

“…I was told recently that I did something that I absolutely did not do, haven’t done, will not do. And I got accused of it, and it hurt,” she continued. “I wanted to get on social media and say, ‘This is a lie, this is not true,’ but I’m not going to. That’s not me. I’m not going to partake in it. I think it’s silliness, I think it’s foolishness, and if that person looks at me and says that I’ve done something that I haven’t done, well, then I put you in God’s hands. God will deal with you accordingly.”

Doris added that she’s tired from dealing with the mystery person’s constant drama.

“I just give it up to God, and say, ‘God, you take care of this situation,” she said. ” I don’t have the time, or I don’t have the energy to deal with it.’”

Cory Wharton Admits He & Cheyenne Floyd Were Instructed to “Pretend” to Fight for ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’

“I know you’re probably shocked to hear that scene wasn’t real, due to my overwhelmingly good acting.”

On the most-recent season of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,’ Cory and his baby mama Cheyenne got into a fight about where their daughter Ryder would spend Christmas. At the time the episode aired, many fans expressed that the disagreement felt “set up” and “fake.” In a recent video posted to Snapchat, Cory admitted that the fight was, indeed, just for the cameras.

He also revealed that he and Cheyenne were instructed to “fight” about something for the show.

In the episode— which aired in June— Cheyenne gets mad when Cory informs her that he has booked tickets for his family– including Ryder— to spend Christmas with his relatives in Michigan. The two “bicker” about the situation and Cheyenne kindly kicks Cory out of her house.

According to Cory, though, that scene was a phony.

Cory, wondering if his performance was good enough to submit for Emmy consideration…probably.

“Me and Cheyenne talk about all the holidays,” he said while live on Snapchat. “We make sure to go over everything. Can I keep it real with y’all? Real quick, I gotta do this: I don’t know if I’m going to get in trouble.

“But that scene on ‘Teen Mom’ last season of me not telling Cheyenne about Christmas was a lie. That was a lie! Of course I talked to Cheyenne months before. I didn’t just book a flight and not tell her about it.”

“We all know Larry’s head is gonna explode when he sees this!”

Cory said, despite the situation being fake, he agreed to pretend for the show…and the paycheck.

“But I took the bullet for that because I thought about the bigger scheme,” he said. “It’s all about the bigger, grand plan. We needed an argument, so it’s not a complete lie but we just fabricate it a little bit.”

Ryan Edwards’ Pregnant Girlfriend Amanda Conner Dresses Up as Mackenzie Edwards After Mackenzie Sues Ryan for Back Child Support

No tricks, no treats, just cringe.

Amanda Conner, the pregnant girlfriend of ‘Teen Mom’ dad Ryan Edwards, took TikTok trolling to a new (and trashier) level this week when she posted a video of herself seemingly dressed as Ryan’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Mackenzie Edwards for Halloween.

As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Ryan and Mack– who share son Jagger, 6, and daughter Stella, 4– are in the midst of a nasty divorce and custody battle. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Mack is suing Ryan for back child support that she claims Ryan “refuses” to pay, despite him reportedly earning more than $18,000 a month.

Presumably in response to Mack’s recent legal move, Amanda took to TikTok on Halloween wearing a pair of blue medical scrubs– similar to those worn by Mack, who works in the medical field– while dancing along to Rihanna’s “B***h Better Have My Money.”

Amanda also made a point to use some props in her TikTok, including cash and a stack of folders– one of which that was clearly labeled “screenshots.”

As The Ashley previously told you, Mack accused Ryan last month of not helping her to support their children. While this still appears to be the case, Amanda surprisingly (and rather confusingly) received a large amount of support in the comment section of her latest TikTok for “winning the Internet” and “being iconic” with her Mack costume.

Leave the “iconic” costumes to Ryan, Amanda.

“You’ve made me realize I need to step up my petty game cause the bar is now in hell thanks to you and I love that,” one person wrote.

“YEEES!! Mack don’t stand a chance with Amanda,” another added.

Mackenzie McKee Sets Wedding Date & Gives Update on Her Kids’ Relationships with Their Dad Josh

“I’m gettin’ hitched, still dealin’ with Josh and haven’t lit my kitchen on fire in months!”

Mackenzie McKee took to Instagram this week for a Q&A with fans, during which she revealed that she and fiancé Khesanio Hall are planning to tie the knot at the end of next year.

Viewers watched on the latest season of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ as Khessy surprised Mack with a beachside proposal. In June, the couple revealed that they had begun the IVF process in the hope of welcoming their first child together.

As ‘Teen Mom’ fans may remember, Mackenzie had her tubes tied after welcoming three children– sons Gannon and Broncs and daughter Jaxie– with ex-husband, Josh McKee, and dealing with high-risk pregnancies associated with her having diabetes.

During her Q&A, Mackenzie was also asked about her kids’ relationship with their father, who has been mostly absent from the children lives since he and Mackenzie split.

“I raise them full time!” Mackenzie said this week of her and Josh’s three children. “[Josh and I] don’t speak! But the kids have cell phones and they each have the freedom of making that relationship what they want it to be!

“But there is nothing but peace and love in all of it,” she added.

Mackenzie has consistently praised Khessy for stepping up as a father in Josh’s absence and previously revealed that she even plans to give her kids the option to change their last names from “McKee” to “Hall” once she and Khessy walk down the aisle.

Earlier this year, Mackenzie also shared that Josh has given Khessy props for “doing a really good job raising these kids.”
