Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s Breakup Rocks Southern Charm Cast in New Footage

Craig Conover breaks silence on 'unexpected' Paige DeSorbo split: 'I was shocked'

Craig Conover's breakup is sending shock waves through Charleston.

The Southern Charm cast reacts to the news of Craig's split from Paige DeSorbo for the very first time in E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the Bravo series' season 10 finale.

In the March 19 preview—which picks up in January five months after filming had wrapped—headlines about the former couple's shocking breakup flash across the screen as the Summer House star is heard saying in a voiceover, "Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. I am a different person than when I started dating him."

Craig's longtime BFFs Shep Rose and Austen Kroll then discuss how they found out about the December 2024 split.

"I was in the Caribbean and I get a message from, of course, Rodrigo [Reyes]," Shep tells Austen. "'Have you seen the news? Holy s--t!'"

Austen was equally caught off guard. "I think that there were cracks," he adds, "but I think that Craig was like, 'Not enough to terminate relationship.'"

Shep replies, "I just feel bad for the guy, you know? It doesn't sound like he was driving this bus."

Craig finally joins his costars to tell his side of the story leading up to the breakup.

"Paige and I had a great Thanksgiving together," the Sewing Down South founder recounts. "Everything was normal at her parents, like our chemistry and everything. Then a couple weeks later she called me and was like, 'We gotta talk.'"

When Austen asks if the call happened before Christmas, Craig confirms, "Yeah. I knew."

While fans will have to tune in to the March 20 season finale to see the fallout continue, there have been no shortage of red flags between the exes throughout this season of Charm. In fact, Paige and Craig got into a heated fight about his desire to settle down and have kids during the Feb. 6 episode.

"F--k yeah it's my decision, because I'm the one that has to hold it in my f--king body," the 32-year-old told Craig. "If you said to me right now, 'We need to have a baby or I'm leaving,' you'd have to leave."

Additionally, Craig shared his insecurities over the Giggly Squad podcast cohost's increasingly busy work schedule exactly one week later.

"You shouldn't have to force someone into liking you," Craig admitted during the Feb. 13 episode. "If the person likes you, they'll make time for you. It's an insecurity that I have dealt with because Paige is so busy and her career is one of her biggest priorities. I had to learn how to exist in that world."

See the fallout from Craig and Paige's breakup play out when the Southern Charm season finale airs Thursday, March 20, at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

The two-part season 10 reunion kicks off March 27 at 8 p.m. on Bravo. In the meantime, keep reading to look back at the timeline of Craig and Paige's relationship and split.
