Craig Conover Pushes Friends Away

Craig Conover used to be a party animal. Fans saw this in the earlier seasons of Southern Charm. However, he recently decided that he wanted to be sober. He did not want to go out and party all the time. However, his friends, Shep Rose and Austen Kroll, did not want to give up this lifestyle. They are constantly saying Craig will not go out with them and much more. Austen and Craig have a podcast. Craig has said before that they do not film in person due to Austen always being too hungover to come over. Yikes. What else is going on?

He Believes Austen Kroll Is Over Medicated

Craig Conover believes Austen Kroll is overmedicated. During an episode, he said:

Austen is always hungover or zannied out

Fans were not shocked to hear this. However, some were shocked to hear this coming from Craig.

• Didn’t Madison also kind of out him at one of the reunions? Said something like “go do something in the bathroom and calm your nerves.”
• I love Craig but this is rich coming from Captain Adderall.
• Makes sense. When you party a lot Xanax helps you come down without anxiety or enhances the high of other drugs.
• Craig is a pathological liar who throws shit out when he’s mad at someone. He just did it to JT.
• You know damn well Austin wasn’t the only one doing that stuff on the show so idk why he’s talking.

Hm. Viewers seem to think they both could be over-medicating. However, Craig is known to fib so it is unknown if this is true or not.

It seems as though Craig thinks his friendship with Austen is not the same because he is always hungover or “zannied out”. Craig has chosen to be sober and work on himself. However, this led to Shep and Austen feeling like they lost their friend. There has been a lot of controversy over this.
