Fans are slamming Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover as a “pathological liar” over a resurfaced interview allegedly filmed after his split from Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo. During the interview, Craig declared that he and Paige were on a “parallel track” as he planned on “spending more time” in New York.
When Paige revealed the breakup on a December 30 podcast episode, the New Yorker adamantly denied rumors that they had already been broken up for a while. But when reports surfaced that she allegedly was seeing another man well before December 30, Paige admitted that she actually broke up with Craig Thanksgiving weekend — though she was “fine” with him acting like they were still together in interviews.
After Paige’s recent comments, an interview of Craig surfaced from December 6 — when he and Paige were allegedly over.
“I love that Paige and I are on this parallel track of like just working hard. I mean, she’s like the hardest worker I know,” said Craig at the time on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
“And honestly, I will always, you know, be a part of Charleston, but I’m starting to love this, like, New York energy,” he went on. “And I think I’ll be spending more time up here because a lot of my work for Sewing Down South is on the road now. So as long as I have an airport, I can get to my meetings.”
At one point, he fondly pointed to a Polaroid of Paige on a wall of past interviewees.
“Hold on, I gotta get a picture,” said Craig, smiling as he took out his phone to snap a photo. “Aww…”
The podcast’s Instagram account wrote in a caption: “Us realizing that everything Craig said in the studio was a lie 😭💋💔.”

On the new season of Southern Charm, one of the biggest storylines hinged on Craig’s claim that castmate JT Thomas called Patricia Altschul a “b**ch.” JT maintains that he never said it, and several co-stars have now suggested Craig lied.
