Paige DeSorbo is looking to rent a new apartment. Her original budget was $9,000 a month. On Season 8, Episode 5 of Summer House Paige revealed to Lindsey Hubbard that she went to see a new apartment, only to find out the potential rent would be $12,000. The Manhattan apartment falls $3000 over Paige DeSorbo’s’ budget.
Paying The Difference
Lindsay Hubbard asked Craig Conover, Paige DeSorbos’s long-time boyfriend if he would contribute to the cost of the apartment. Paige answered for Craig stating no he would not be contributing to the cost of the apartment. Craig will be staying at the Manhattan apartment when he is in the city. Craig went on to explain to Lindsay that “what I said was, ‘If you find, like, a sick ass apartment but it’s outside of your budget, then I’ll cover the outside of your budget part,'” Craig added, “We’re not there yet… It would just freak Paige out.” These two have been together a while, but Paige doesn’t like to take anything fast with Craig.
Paige Doesn’t Want Help
In the episode interview Paige DeSorbo explained why she does not want Craig Conover to contribute to the rent of her new apartment. Paige stated “I wouldn’t go buy a car with Craig not being married. I wouldn’t start a bank account with Craig not being married, so why would I take part of my rent from him? I’m not just going to be indebted to him, and then, what? He thinks he’s gonna make decisions in my apartment? Get out of town.”
Craig stated that he “would be willing to” contribute to the apartment, “but we’ve never done — we don’t know what we’re doing.” Sounds like the couple are still working out the kinks of their living situation. She is still in New York City where he is in Charleston.
A Tale Of Two Cities
Craig Conover talks to Kyle Cook about his long distance relationship with Paige DeSorbo. Craig says that “We do live in different places. She lives in New York City. She loves New York,” he said. “I love Charleston. I run a company out of Charleston.” The couple have debated for a long time now which city they will settle down in, however no decision has been made yet and the couple continue to split time between New York City and Charleston. The couple seem to be happily splitting their time between the two locals however Kyle says “At some point, something will have to give.”
