Craig Conover is reacting to Paige DeSorbo‘s claim that she caught him texting other women during their three-year relationship.

Southern Charm's Craig Conover Slams Paige's Claims About Him Texting Other Women as "Retaliatory" as He Reacts to "Disappointing" Scene and Insists He's "Grateful" for 3-Yr Relationship, Plus Best and Worst Parts of Season 10

After Paige, 32, told Amanda Batula, 33, and Lindsay Hubbard, 38, that she “caught [Craig] texting two b*tches” in response to his failure to defend her against post-split cheating rumors, the 36-year-old Southern Charm cast member labeled the scene “retaliatory” as he expressed disappointment in the Summer House sneak peek.

“It was disappointing to see the direction that her and her show went,” Craig admitted in a preview of his upcoming appearance on Tamron Hall, via Us Weekly. “[Shep Rose], my costar on Southern Charm was like, ‘That’s the most frustrating thing about you, is how loyal you are.’ So I’ve never cheated.”

According to Craig, Paige’s scene was shot after their breakup, which he claims happened in December and she says went down in November.

“That wasn’t part of our breakup. That was filmed later on,” he said. “I think it was a retaliatory scene.”

As for why Paige would have made the claim against him, Craig said Paige got “a lot of backlash for the breakup, which I was disappointed at,” suggesting that she was trying to avoid being portrayed as the villain in their split.

“At the end of the day, she fell out of love, or I wasn’t the right person for her, I think that’s OK, well it is OK,” he continued. “If someone’s not right for you, you only live once. Go find your person.”

Craig went on to say that he’s a “pretty positive person” as he admitted he’s “grateful” for the time he shared with Paige.

“I’m just grateful for the three years of a relationship that we had. It was really great,” he revealed. “I’m 100 times a better version of myself now than I was and I think she is too.”

During another interview, on February 13 interview with Betches, Craig shared looked back on season 10, sharing the best and the worst parts.

“The beekeeping was my favorite. I’m really sad that they didn’t show how great Paige was. She had the bees all over her at one point, and it was actually her idea to get them at home because it was so relaxing to her. I sent a not-so-nice note to the production like, ‘Come on guys. You should have given her that. She was all in on the bees,'” he teased.

Then, speaking of the worst part, Craig said he didn’t enjoy “getting sucked into a lot of other people’s drama.”

“I had been on this path of trying to find peace and calm my nervous system. And sometimes if you’re not careful, you’ll get pulled into other people’s stuff to the point where you’re in the shower at night or something and you’re like, ‘Why am I letting this get me worked up?'” he explained.

Sharing what’s to come on the rest of the season, Craig revealed that the group’s trip to the Bahamas was his “favorite cast trip” ever.

“We go to The Bahamas to find Shep’s girlfriend and it’s incredible. I personally like the second half of the season better, so I think the viewers will too,” he stated.

Southern Charm season 10 airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo, and Summer House season nine airs Wednesdays at 9/8c, also on Bravo.
