Southern Charm's fan favorite, Austen Kroll, is as famous for his rollercoaster dating history as he is for his undeniable charm. Whether it's about his time with Taylor Ann Green or his romantic relationship with Madison LeCroy, if there is someone who has enough experience with love to offer advice, it is him.
In a recent interview, Austyn Kroll sat before the mic and shared his 'dating rules' just in time to celebrate his first anniversary with his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt. As he opened up, Kroll discussed the right time to take your partner home for the holidays, his struggles with gift-giving, and some advice against breaking up with someone before the holidays.
Let's dive into the lessons we can glean from the Trop Hop Beer founder's journey and discover his well-kept secrets.
As Southern Charm star Austyn Kroll prepared to pop the champagne on his first anniversary with his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt, he let fans peek into his dating secrets and struggles before the fans.
Kroll believes one should ask himself a few questions before he decides to take their partner home for holidays to meet the family.
“How serious is this partner and how long have you been dating? Have you been dating for longer than three months? Then yes, you can introduce your partner to your family during the holidays.”
As per the Southern Charm star, a relationship should at least last more than three months to make the next move.
Further in the interview, the reality TV personality reveals how gift-giving is 'not his love language.'
“I’m terrible because I feel like jewelry is such a lame gift, but women love jewelry, right? I don’t know. I mean are flowers, like, a lame gift? Yes.”
He admits, at times, he turns to his partner's girlfriends for a little gift-giving guidance.
Austyn has been the king of heartbreaks throughout his journey on Southern Charm. However, he ensures he never bids his adieu to his partner during the cuffing season.
“If you’re on the fence about the relationship, you wait until after Christmas and the new year, probably [to break up]. That would be cruel to break up with somebody right before Christmas.”
He further revealed how he would never hit up one of his exes if he is alone during the holidays:
"They are an ex for a reason."
Austyn also shared that his favorite holiday movie is The Holiday, which is a perfect date idea for him.
