Cynthia Bailey Gives a New Update on Her Health Amid "Weight Watchers Journey

Cynthia Bailey On Exiting Reality TV: 'I Wanted To Take A Break Before I Got To My Breaking Point' | Essence

From her health to her love life, everything's coming up roses for The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey.

"I feel like I am in full bloom," the Season 16 friend gushes while describing the black floral look she's serving in the above first look clip of The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show, which officially kicks off after Episode 8 airs on Sunday, April 27.

After her "twinning" castmates Drew Sidora and Angela Oakley compliment her "impeccable" fashion and how "amazing" she looks, Cynthia jokes about "getting dragged" for her bob wigs on RHOA but adds that "it's all about personal style" and returns the ladies' kind words.

"I love giving everyone their flowers, and I love receiving mine," Cynthia says, before offering a quick health update. "I'm still on my Weight Watchers journey, so I'm feeling good."

Cynthia Bailey opened up about her weight loss goals

To kick off 2025, Cynthia shared in a Jan. 1 Instagram video that she'd "put on more pounds than [she cared] to admit," explaining what led to her weight gain, as well as how she planned to lose 50 extra pounds by partnering with Weight Watchers to develop a suitable nutrition plan. Her ultimate goal: to feel "strong, healthy, and confident" again.

"My weight was something I never worried about. As a model for most of my adult life, staying fit came naturally — or at least it felt that way," she said. "However, turning 50 brought some unexpected changes. Menopause hit hard. My lifestyle became more unpredictable with constant work travel. And, let's be honest, that happy weight you gain in a new relationship? Well, that didn't help either. Suddenly, what felt like overnight, I didn't feel like I looked like myself anymore."

Cynthia, who briefly tried using Ozempic in the past, added, "This journey isn't just about looking better, it's about feeling like myself again. Here's to taking control and living a healthy lifestyle."

Who is Cynthia Bailey dating?

As for that "new relationship," Cynthia confirmed to TMZ in March that she's been dating Amsterdam-based musician LePrince for almost a year but had tried to keep his identity a secret.

Though, "the cat is out of the bag" now, as Cynthia later put it to the outlet, she still doesn't plan to share their romance on social media.

"I've been through marriages, through divorces, and I've met someone I really like, and I just really want a fair chance to just kind of get to know him, not in a public way," the mom to 25-year-old Noelle Robinson (with her ex, Leon Robinson) explained.
