Two cast members of the Hulu reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will be joining Dancing With the Stars for Season 34. The announcement was made on the Hulu reality show's reunion special, which aired on July 1.
Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt will be joining social media influencer Alix Earle and Robert Irwin, who have previously been announced as cast members.
Affleck and Leavitt filmed a video reacting to their casting with Good Morning America.
"We're so excited to be joining Dancing With the Stars," Affleck said.
"Catch MomTok on the dance floor," Leavitt added. Then the two said at the same time, "I'm coming for that mirror ball," referring to the show's trophy, before showing off a little of their dancing.
Dancing With the Stars wrapped another successful season on ABC this past fall, ranking as the top show among adults ages 18 to 49 in the Live+Same Day viewing category, Deadline reported. Season 33 broke several records and crowned The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei and professional Jenna Johnson as the winners.
ABC hasn’t announced when the newest season of Dancing With the Stars will premiere, but it's expected to start sometime in mid- to late September. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will return as hosts, while Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will return as judges.
The show will air live on ABC and Disney+ and be available for streaming the next day on Hulu.
Here’s who has been cast for the upcoming season.
Affleck is one of the main cast members on Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She is also a social media influencer, with over 1 million Instagram followers and 2.1 million followers on TikTok, where she documents raising her children.
Whitney Leavitt
Leavitt stars in Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and was one of the former self-described leaders of MomTok, a community of moms based in Utah who would make social media content together.
Alix Earle
Earle is one of the biggest social media personalities in the U.S., with over 7.5 million TikTok followers and 4.3 million followers on Instagram. She hosts a podcast called "Hot Mess" and recently posed for the Sports Illustrated 2025 Swimsuit issue, after becoming the company's first digital cover model in 2024.
Robert Irwin
Irwin is a wildlife conservationist like his late father and lives in Australia. He, along with his mom and sister, works with wildlife at the Australia Zoo. He will be following in the footsteps of his sister, Bindi, who won the mirror ball trophy in 2015 with her dancing partner, Derek Hough. Their father was famed Australian conservationist Steve Irwin, known as the “Crocodile Hunter,” who was killed by a stingray at 44 years old in 2006.
“All I can say is, crikey! Holy moly,” Irwin said at Hulu’s Get Real event on April 22. In true Irwin fashion, he had a snake around his neck. "I cannot tell you what a privilege, what an honor it is to be joining this season.”
“This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid watching my sister’s incredible journey on the show,” Irwin posted on Instagram. “I cannot believe it is about to become a reality. So grateful.”
