‘DWTS’ Fans Angry Over Season Semi-Final
The DWTS Season 33 semi-final saw actress Chandler Kinney, The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei, rugby player Ilona Maher, Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola, and Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik compete in choreographed danced routines. The stars were judged following their performances with their professional partners. Judges did give the dancers scores, however, they were informed that they would not apply the night of the semi-final. This left fans incited.
The performers were informed that their scores would not apply on the night of their performance. Judges revealed that the scores obtained would be used in the next week’s competition. They explained that the night would see no eviction. Meaning every performer was safe from elimination for the time being. Fans of DWTS were not happy. They felt like the results of the semi-final performance were “Fake and rigged.” The fans also said:
- “Dancing with the Stars… that was terrible. ELIMINATE SOMEONE!!! We are all voting hello? What kind of rigged racket are you running here?!”
- “Most votes cast in a single episode of #DWTS and the producers must not have liked what the voters said because they didn’t let anyone go home! Some times I’m ok with rigging a vote!”
- “We’re so soft as a society now we can’t even vote people off of dancing with the stars everyone has to be a winner.”
‘DWTS’ Season 33 Final Five
Season 33 of DWTS final will see five pairs perform routines for judges. Fans felt some performers did better than others. In particular, Danny was not a fan favorite and there were cries for him to be eliminated for his Viennese Waltz. Fans were also not happy with Danny’s Salsa. This isn’t the first major drama this season on DWTS.
Earlier this season Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was accused for giving harsher scores to female performers. Producers spoke with Carrie over this concern and she was ultimately replaced due to the incident. Fans were also upset earlier in Season 33 when DWTS was put on pause for a week due to the presidential election. The Season 33 final promises to be a magnificent display of artistic talent, with five competitors.
