Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars concluded with the retirement of longtime head judge, Len Goodman. Sadly, Len passed away in April 2023. During Season 32, the current cast of pros, along with fan favorites from the past, gathered to honor Len in the ballroom. However, Cheryl Burke and Sharna Burgess didn’t receive invites to return and participate in the dancing tribute. It was confusing for fans and the two omitted pros. Could things have now changed for an upcoming celebration?
Sharna Burgess was excluded from Len Goodman’s tribute, so will she return to Dancing with the Stars?
After Sharna gave birth to her son with her fiancé, Beverly Hills 90210 actor Brian Austin Green, she opted to sit out Season 31. However, Sharna was stunned that she wasn’t asked to be a pro for Season 32 of DWTS. And her feelings were hurt that she wasn’t invited to honor Len in the ballroom.
Brian took to Instagram in a since-deleted post to shame those who excluded Sharna. In her Instagram Story, Sharna shared her feelings. “I can love and support the show, feel joy for those who were there, and also feel sad about me not being there,” she said.
During the upcoming 500th episode of DWTS, a press release from ABC/Disney read, “The night kicks off with an electrifying opening number, choreographed by Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach.” The release continued, “Plus, get ready for the dazzling return of some fan-favorite faces to the ballroom.”
“Rylee’s at pro opening number rehearsal and is this Sharna??? no one else has the red hair lol! maybe she will be in it!” the fan captioned the Snapchat screenshot. “It definitely looks like her to me!!” another user posted. “That has to be Sharna! I mean who else could it be,” a second fan wrote.
“OMG ITS HAPPENING!!” a third user commented. “IKNEWWWWWWW IT!!!!!!!!!! Something was telling me, she was going to be back. I felt like she was dropping hints,” another user added.
