Fans of Dancing with the Stars are upset after severe weather led to the cancellation of one of the tour dates in Buffalo, N.Y., on Jan. 21.
The announcement was shared on the Instagram account for the Dancing with the Stars Tour on Tuesday, with the message saying, "Due to the mayor of Buffalo declaring a state of emergency with the ongoing lake effect snow storm. Tonight's show at Shea's has been postponed."
The statement continued, "New information about this show will be provided to ticket purchasers via the official ticket provider and venue channels once it is available."
Dancing with the Stars concluded the message with a kind sendoff for those affected by the storm, saying, "We send our best wishes to everyone in and around Buffalo impacted by the storm."
Fans shared their reactions to the news in the comments, with replies like, "crying," and "Im so sad! But understand this decision. It's a cold one today!"
"Dang I’m so sad :(((" said another, as more chimed in to say, "currently sobbing," "The day of? Ugh I’m already here" and "But this could have been announced earlier… I drove here 😔."
Many more wrote similar notes questioning why the news was shared so late, while others posted well wishes for everyone in the snowstorm.
Dancing with the Stars Tour didn't share any information about when the show might be rescheduled, and there were quite a few people in the comments also asking for updates about the postponed show in Richmond, Va., earlier this month.
The tour is scheduled to continue through April with performances around the country. Starring the professional dancers from the show, the tour also features special appearances from celebrity contestants like Chandler Kinney and Ilona Maher, among others.
