Acclaimed director and producer David Serero will bring the legendary life of Muhammad Ali to the Off-Broadway stage in December 2024 with his new monologue play, “I, MUHAMMAD ALI.” This powerful work explores the life, struggles and triumphs of the iconic boxer, tracing his journey from Cassius Clay to becoming a global symbol of resilience, activism and activism. movement and champion of champions.
Today, Serero announced the actor who will play Muhammad Ali: “After nearly 1,000 actors applied and auditioned, I decided on the talented and exceptional Zack Bazile, who perfectly portrays the role of Ali. as an actor and a boxer.”
Serero, known for his bold storytelling and transformative performances, takes on the complex character of Ali, blending drama, history and deep reflection to capture the character's essence boxer.
