TEEN Mom star Amber Portwood has shown off her 20-plus pound weight loss in new photos weeks after ending her engagement to Gary Wayt.
On Sunday, the MTV star shared the weight loss update with fans on her Snapchat.
Amber, 34, posted a selfie to the social media platform with the caption, "26 lbs down," followed by the praying hands, meditation, and pink flower emojis.
In the photo, Amber showcased just her slimmer face and the upper portion of her body.
Amber smirked at the camera with her highlighted hair pulled into a ponytail and draped over her shoulder.
Part of her cleavage was revealed as she leaned toward the lens in a low-cut spaghetti strap top.
The reality TV star followed the weight loss announcement post with another selfie that captured her smiling.
Amber's recent focus on health comes just weeks after she ended her engagement to Gary Wayt.
Last month, a source close to the Teen Mom OG alum exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun that Amber "still hasn't spoken to" her ex since he was found.
Gary, 39, became a missing person after he bolted from their rental cabin with only his keys and wallet following an argument.
He would turn up unharmed several days later.
"Amber has not spoken to him and she isn't reaching out to him," the insider revealed.
Teen Mom Amber Portwood says she saw ex-fiance Gary Wayt's 'first manic episode' in cryptic scene before he went missing
The source continued, "She hasn't really reached out to anyone since he was found. She is pretty hurt by the whole situation and still in disbelief."
Amber and Gary attended her brother Shawn Portwood's wedding in North Carolina, staying in the mountainous area over the celebratory weekend.
On Sunday, June 9, the source said that the couple appeared happy and revealed that Amber had bought Gary his engagement ring that day - and that he was wearing it.
That night, the pair began to pack things to head back to their home in Indiana when they got into a heated argument.
The argument ended with Gary storming out of their rental cabin with only his car keys and wallet - leaving his phone behind.
After being unable to contact her then-fiance Amber reported him as a missing person.
THE FIGHT
The news hit that Amber and Gary were engaged while they were in North Carolina, and Gary's family was reportedly not pleased.
"They talked about the difference in culture between his culture and hers and how his family was not very accepting of her and expressed serious concerns.
"They also said that they didn't like her past," a source added.
The happy couple was set to talk to Gary's family after the wedding weekend, but that never happened.
Bryson City Police Department opened a missing person's case and put out an alert for him.
Gary was spotted in Oklahoma and New Mexico and police insisted they would keep the case open until he contacted authorities.
That Friday Gary presumably let authorities know he was okay and the alert was called off.
AMBER'S PAST
Amber's tumultuous life has been documented on the MTV shows 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom OG, and Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
The TV star's tough road as a mother and her fractured relationships with her two children, who she does not have custody of, has become one of the main storylines for the reality series.
Amber shares her 15-year-old daughter, Leah, with her ex Gary Shirley.
She also has a 6-year-old son, James, who lives in California with his dad Andrew Glennon.
The Teen Mom star also spent 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to two felony charges of domestic battery following an alleged attack on Leah's father, Gary.
Amber wrote extensively about her troubled past and her various mental health diagnoses in her book So, You're Crazy Too?
A source close to Amber said that the MTV star has "endured a lot of trauma and has worked hard in recent years to move past all of that."
