Denise Richards is Pictured With a “Black Eye” After Police Encounter at Aaron Phypers’ Home, Find Out What an Insider is Saying

Denise Richards was photographed with what appeared to be a black eye on Tuesday.

Days after being accused of violating the restraining order she took out against estranged husband Aaron Phypers, 52, after showing up to the home where he is living with his parents and brother, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star stepped out in Calabasas, California, with darkness under her eyes and a mark under her chin.

In photos shared by Page Six on X, formerly known as Twitter, Denise was sporting a sweatshirt and baseball hat as her potential injuries were on full display.

However, after the photos hit the web, a source insisted that Denise was not injured. Instead, she’d undergone a cosmetic procedure to reduce scarring, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, which led to the discoloration of her skin.

“It’s not a black eye,” an insider told PEOPLE on August 6. “It’s lighting and shadows. She also had micro-needling PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).”

As RHOBH fans may have heard, Denise faced reports of possibly violating the restraining order she has against Aaron, whom she claimed “repeatedly abused” her throughout their six-year marriage, after showing up to his home on Sunday to get one of her dogs.

Then, in a statement from Denise’s attorney, it was alleged that Aaron had “put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission,” which he denied.

“Not true on both accusations,” he told PEOPLE. “Denise’s attorney has consistently struck out in pursuit of the truth. There is a difference between telling the truth and trying to protect your client.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
