Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton continues to produce what the entire NFL wants a piece of

Sean Payton is one of the most respected head coaches in the entire league and that's not me saying it just to say it and be nice -- he really demands the attention of almost every team in the league when it comes to gameplanning. He's a brilliant offensive mind, a great developer, and a talent evaluator, and he had a terrific season for the Denver Broncos.

He has been doing this for a long time, and the longer you do it, the more you will start to see coaches around the league that come from under his wing, or as we say in the business, "come from the Payton coaching tree."

Payton has quite a few, and he keeps churning out coaches that other teams want, on the regular. This time is no different.

Bears may want Broncos' Doyle

According to Tom Pelissero, the Chicago Bears have requested to interview with the Broncos tight end coach Declan Doyle.

Doyle really started his NFL coaching career in 2019 with the New Orleans Saints, where he served as an offensive assistant for over four years with the Saints Doyle moved to the Denver Broncos in 2023, following Payton who took up the head coach position after Nathaniel Hackett left it all a mess. In his role with the Broncos, Doyle has significantly influenced the development of tight ends like Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull.

However, the Broncos haven't really had the personnel to have a great room. His coaching led to Trautman setting a personal record for touchdown receptions, while Krull celebrated his first career touchdown in the 2023 season.

Doyle has a lot of experience, and while the Broncos haven't had the best tight end room the last two years, Doyle has developed the players they do have a good bit. The Broncos would be losing a good one if he got the job with the Bears.
