A statement this afternoon from Misfits Boxing confirmed that next weekend’s Unfinished Business event had been entirely postponed. Undercard fighters including Chase DeMoor and Fox ‘The G’ Townley expressed upset in posts, having already completed and paid for their fight camps.

“Due to an illness to KSI, Misfits Boxing Unfinished Business, scheduled for March 29th in Manchester, has been postponed,” read an official statement. “A further update will be issued next week, including a new date for the event.”

Earlier this month, KSI and Danis came head-to-head at a press conference in London, which saw the YouTuber slap his rival across the face with a pancake.

Immediately after the announcement was made, Dillon Danis took to X to share his first thoughts on the fight being called off. He was maligned for pulling out of their initial meeting in January 2023, but did fly to London for one day to show intent by attending the launch press conference this month.

The promotion claim the bout is being postponed, but Danis is already training for a May 24 fight with Tony Ferguson in the GFL. Danis wrote: “hahahahahahahahaha p—- @KSI.” He followed it up by adding: “I remember my first cold.”

KSI released a video message in which he detailed an illness that has forced him out of sparring and ultimately caused him to postpone the fight. He noted that he is still keen to fight and knock out Danis.
