DWTS Season 33 Contestants Pay Homage To The Show’s Best Routines
At the end of Halloween Night, fans said a heartbreaking goodbye to The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber. Many would have loved to see them advance in the competition, but it’s not all bad news. There’s plenty of evidence to suggest the two developed a romantic relationship in the ballroom.
Now, the top six couples are working on their routines for week seven, which is also the 500th episode. In honor of the milestone episode, each couple will perform a dance inspired by an iconic performance from the past 32 seasons.
Here’s the line-up:
- Danny Amendola & Witney Carson – Quickstep to “Hey Pachuco” by Royal Crown Revue, inspired by Helio Castroneves & Julianne Hough from Season 5
- Joey Graziadei & Jenna Johnson – Contemporary to “Worky Song” by Hozier, inspired by Riker Lynch & Allison Holker from Season 20
- Dwight Howard & Daniella Karagach – Argentine tango to “Santa Maria (del Buen Ayre)” by Gotan Project, inspired by James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess from Season 23

The Second Round Features An Exciting Twist
Now that there are only six couples remaining, they’ll have increasingly difficult routines and challenges ahead of them. During the second round of the evening, the competitors will participate in the “Instant Dance Challenge.”
In this portion of the night, they will have just five minutes to choreograph a dance to a surprise style. Without a doubt, the celebrities will heavily rely on their pro dancers to help carry them through.
